According to CNBC, Microsoft plans to introduce entirely new artificial
intelligence tools for use on PCs and in cloud services at its annual Build
conference next May.
Last January, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that "artificial
intelligence will become part of every personal computer," and the
schedule for Microsoft's next conference reflects this ambition.
Microsoft has experienced extraordinary growth in profits from clients that
utilize artificial intelligence models on its Azure cloud platform, and the
company hopes to maintain this trend by delivering more artificial intelligence
features to developers.
.
According to the firm's conference
event schedule, the business will also discuss new artificial intelligence
technologies that allow customers to interact more deeply with their digital
lives on the Windows operating system.
Developers will be able to incorporate these capabilities into Windows
programs. As part of that effort, Microsoft introduced its Surface PCs last
March, which include a dedicated button for rapid access to the company's
Copilot chatbot.
During the conference's opening comments in Seattle, Mustafa Suleiman,
Microsoft's new head of artificial intelligence, will join Nadella and other
top executives on stage.
Suleiman joined Microsoft last month from the startup Inflection AI and is a
co-founder of DeepMind, which Google purchased in 2014.
